According to Rightmove, property asking prices have reached an all-time high of nearly £256,000.

The average asking price increased by £16,251, a 7% increase over the previous year.

London saw the average price increase by 11.3% to a massive £552,000. According to reports, estate agents and developers are pushing for changes to Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) as well as a lowering the Help to Buy cap.
