Actor and comedian Steve Coogan (AKA Alan Partridge) has been banned from driving for 28 days after he was clocked doing 54mph driving a Mazda MX-5 SE sports car in a 30mph zone.
Mr Cogan who was not at the hearing had pleaded guilty to the offence was additionally fined £670 by Worthing Magistrates Court along with a victim surcharge of £67 and costs of 85.
