The Essex Schools Showcase for the Arts

17 July 2017

The Essex Schools Showcase for the Arts launched this week in and around the High Chelmer shopping precinct in Chelmsford.

The showcase is a celebration of visual and performance arts exhibited and displayed by students from fourteen local schools with live performances taking place throughout the week.

Bishops Stortford High School was among one of the first schools to hit the stage with a group of their students performing in a band on the day of the launch. Gepp & Sons were pleased to present the students with a certificate congratulating them on their skills and talents and for taking part, not an easy feat especially on opening day!

Gepps are proud to support the Essex Schools Showcase for the Arts and are continually impressed by the quality of the work on display.

As you can see from the picture this year may include some of the best displays yet! But don’t take our word for it, have a wander through High Chelmer to see for yourself. The artwork will be displayed until Wednesday 19th July and can be found not only in the shopping centre but in Market Square, The Exchange, the Ideas Hub and even the Civic Theatre.
