This is just what the partners and staff of Gepp & Sons Solicitors have been doing over Christmas and the start of the this year.

Churches Homeless Emergency Support Scheme (CHESS) works tirelessly catering for the needs of Chelmsford many homeless. They have a constant demand to provide accommodation, food and a change of clothes for those in need.

The staff at Gepp & Sons, one of the oldest law firms in Essex, have raised just over £235.00 as a cash boost for urgent supplies at CHESS. Not only will this money go to a worthwhile cause but the two large boxes of food and two more of clothes donated by the staff at Gepps came in just when it was needed most.

“As part of our continued support to charities both local and national, I was touched by the generosity of our staff when giving to CHESS”. Said Partner at Gepps.

“We are so grateful to have received this donation from such an established law firm” said Robert Saggs, Operations Manager at CHESS. “Whilst we provide support to the homeless in so many different ways our mission is very simple, to sum it up in one sentence, we aim to provide something for those who have nothing”.

Robert went on to say, “If any one whished to get involved with what we do by donation or support we would be pleased to hear from them”. For further information please visit www.chelmsfordchess.org or email barbara@chelmsfordchess.org
