Gender Pay Gap Deadline

4 April 2018

Tonight is the cut off point for companies to publish their gender pay gap figures.

The government has issued a final warning to businesses to report their gender pay gap by midnight tonight or could face legal action. To date over 6,000 companies have disclosed the difference between what they pay male and female employees, however there are still nearly 3,000 companies left to report.

The gender pay gap shows the difference in the average pay between all men and women in a workforce. If a workforce has a particularly high gender pay gap, this can indicate there may a number of issues to deal with, and the individual calculations may help to identify what those issues are.
